WWLG Mixed Ambrose Event held at Keysborough Golf Club November 21st 2023

Our day started with a bit of rain with over 30 players from different courses such as Victoria , Spring Valley and Heidelberg 4 players teamed up with men and women battling out for the best Stableford! As they players came through the turn there was a different shot set up as players had three chances to putt for a bottle of wine, whiskey and WWLG Merchandise. You may experience something different at a WWLG Event.

Well done to the Leonard Team with their incredible score. Our team winners for the day had one player who is very new to the game, what a way to enter into the game that we love so much.

WWLG 10 Shot Challenge 2022 at Keysborough Golf Club
Div A Winner: Apantree Justice

Our First WWLG event held at Keysborough Golf Club was a success. It was such a fantastic day sharing the moment with our Major Sponsor Bendigo Bank Dingley Village. Despite the weather being challenging we got through the day! We started off with a 9-hole Ambrose from the blue tees. This gave the women a different challenge to face as the course played a little longer than usual. We had winners and runners up for both nines all receiving medals. After a brief snack that was supplied by Nom Noms and Go Natural who generously donated healthy and delicious treats a short break from the wind and rain was needed. Thank you to Brudor Trophies for their amazing medals/trophies and Callaway /TaylorMade for their contribution prizes. House of Golf and Drummond golf contributed giving our winners for each division a golf bag for the 10-shot challenge. The two wineries that were involved -Michael Unwinn Wines and Tallarook provided our women golfers a chance to have a wine and compete against one of the Professionals for the day by choosing a club for the Pro to use and to try and outdrive them. Thank you to the Professionals involved Jessica Boyce and Jenna Hunter providing shots for players. It was a fun packed day with a surprise performance by Polynesian drummers and dancers Poe Inano who provided entertainment and getting players out of their seats to give hula dancing a try. A big well done to all who competed and joined me on this day I appreciate your support and positive feedback! Let's just say no one went home empty handed. I am looking forward to hosting our next one in 2023. There will be a few announcements to be made for next year, so keep an eye out on emails or the Facebook group.

Our First Mixed Event set place at Spring Park Golf Club on the 16/07/23 with both men women and children out on the course playing Ambrose Stableford. A fun day for all with positive feedback to have more.
